Abstract
We obtain the effective 4D action that arises from a 6D free gauge action in the space?time metric RSI?1. Solving explicitly the 6D equations of motion we obtain the Kaluza?Klein decomposition of the 6D gauge field. This work constitutes the first step towards the discussion of the Gauge?Higgs Unification scenario in this background.
