Dr. Ashutosh Sharma

Dr. Ashutosh Sharma is an internationally recognized academic leader in agri-biotechnology and sustainable agriculture, uniting scientific expertise with innovative vision. With over 3,700 citations and a record of 125+ publications, book chapters, and patents, he has shaped programs, research centers, and technologies that advance sustainability worldwide.

A U.S.–Mexico Foundation Fellow and Vice President of Mexican Society of Micropropagation and Automation, Dr. Sharma has been invited as a keynote speaker at 120+ national and international conferences. His contributions include the development of a high-performance Paulownia tree clone for reforestation and carbon capture, creation of the world’s first mobile plant micropropagation laboratory, and breakthrough solutions to reduce agriculture’s carbon footprint and development of local innovative solutions for several national and international stakeholders.

Recipient of numerous honors — including Global Thought Leader 2025, the National Award for Inspiring Professor, the Global Teacher Award, and the Best Researcher Award — Dr. Sharma is currently the CEO of The Mind & Matter Group, where he leads the transformation of applied science into real-world solutions.
