She has an undergraduate degree in International Relations and another in Law by the UNAM; a master’s degree in Diplomatic Studies by the Institute of Diplomatic Studies Matías Romero; and another master’s and a PhD in Advanced Studies in Human Rights by the Institute “Bartolomé de las Casas” of the la Universidad Carlos III, Madrid Spain.

Currently, she is the University Ombuds of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo.

Dr. Guerrero is a professor at the Law Faculty of the UNAM (online system) teaching the subjects of International Law, Human Rights, and Conventional Civil Law.

She received a grant by the Netherlands Government to study a Post-Graduate Diploma Program on Human Rights at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.

She is a certified professor on human rights by the Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Criminal Justice System (SETEC).

Dr. Guerrero has collaborated in several book chapters and articles about International Law, Migration, Human Rights and Gender Equality.

She has participated as lecturer in different national and international forums such as: the 12th Encounter of Spanish Latin Americanists, the Cuenca Colloquium on International Refugee Law, the 2nd International Migration Encounter, the 3rd International Forum on International Rights and Public Safety; the Professor’s Encounter: Human Rights in Mexico seen from Querétaro; the Third Biennial Conference of the Latin American Society of International Law; the 6th Mexican Seminar on International Law 2016 “Latin American voices facing global challenges”, 1st and 2nd International Seminars of the Latin American Network of International Law; 16th Congresso Brasileiro de Direito Internacional.
