Abstract
In the present research characterization of kaolin waste coming from municipality of Agua Blanca deIturbide in State of Hidalgo (Mexico) was carried out, the powders analyzed included particles thatoscillate between 37 and 500 micrometers. To make their characterization XRay Diffraction, ScanningElectron Microscopy, Chemical Analysis with Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) and distribution ofanalysis of sizes per gradation test were used. Gravimetric separation was also carried out in Wilfleyconcentrating table studying three parameters: flow for dilution water, table inclination and blows perminute (RPM). Obtained products were chemically analyzed, obtaining Fe and Ti oxides, andaluminum silicates.
