Abstract

In this paper we conducted a review of the various ways and means in which micronutrients alter or regulate the operation of the plant and produce a wide range of responses that allow quantitative and qualitative changes in plant performance. This paper addresses physiological and biochemical functions in plant micronutrients and ways in which they react to various limitations in the provision of micronutrients, which contributes to the overall in crop production. The article deals with the roles of micronutrients and the changes induced in plants in response to its offer inadequate and address the factors contributing to micronutrient deficiency, diagnosis, evaluation and management through soil - and plant - approaches.
