Semblance

Jorge Gonzalo Escobar Torres studied an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the Universidad del Valle de México; a Master’s degree in Special Education at the Universidad Intercontinental; and a PhD in Pedagogy at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla. He has written and published the following books: Cuerpo, emociones y cognición en el aula. Volume I (CEAPAC, 2014), Un paradigma integral para la calidad en la educación (CEAPAC, 2007) and Los programas educativos de psicología: Un ejercicio de comparabilidad dentro del CUMEX (UAEH, 2010). He has participated in several conferences about education, development and childhood upbringing.

He works as Full-time Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. Dr. Escobar made an academic residency in the Hanazono University (Japan) where he practiced Zen meditation.
