Omar Lezama Galindo studied an undergraduate degree in journalism and collective communication at the Faculty of Higher Education Studies Aragón of the UNAM. He also studied a master’s degree in Visual Arts and later he joined the doctorate program of Arts and Design where he received honorable mention. He studied these two programs at the FAD Academia de San Carlos. He was a student and a professor in the Program of Editor Training of the Universidad de Barcelona, the association of Editors of Catalonia and the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation.

He has been a professor for 18 years at a graduate level in the UNAM and has participated in more than 100 thesis at a master’s and doctorate degrees, being the director of 14 of them. Dr. Lezama was the director of art of the magazine Entrepreneur, editor of the web page of the Universidad Anáhuac Campus Norte, he was in charge of the press and promotion office of the Universidad Tecnológica of Neza, Academic Secretary of the Graduate Program of Arts and Design and, most recently, Academic Chief of that same program at the Faculty of Higher Education Studies Acatlán at a graduate level.

He is the author of the novel Pasaje masivo en Oristano. Dr. Lezama is part of the research group of arts and design UNIE of the FAD. He has been an academic evaluator peer for Conacyt in the National Program of Quality Graduate Programs.

He is currently a full-time professor in the graduate program of Arts and Design and teaches the subjects of generation of content, social psychology, and analysis of cinematography images.
