Semblance

Luisa Fernanda Vela Castillo was born in Bogotá, Colombia.

She has a master’s degree in plastic and visual arts, a magister in Artistic Studies by the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in Bogotá.

Her research-creative work covers the redefinition of aesthetics of ruin in Latin American contexts, her relationship with the political decadence, and the relation between history, invention and museums.

She is currently a college teacher.
