She has a master’s degree in Management, Preservation and Promotion of Photographic Archives by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and the Superior School of Archiving and Document Management. She has an undergraduate degree in Arts by the Universidad de Monterrey.

Salomé is in charge of the preservation and protection of the photography heritage in the bolts of the Photography Archive since 2004. She participated in the design and renovation of the storage and work spaces of the Photography and Film Archive of Nuevo León.

She has carried out courses and seminars about photographic conservation such as the Third International Colloquium about the preservation and protection of libraries and archives; and the Seminar on Management of Photographic Heritage given by Joan Boadas, both at the Universidad Autónoma de México; among others.

In 2006, she did an academic stay at the School of Conservation and Restoration Manuel del Castillo Negrete in the Seminar of Photography directed by Fernando Osorio Alarcón. She has also received training from the National System of Photography Archives which is affiliated to the Photography Archive of Nuevo León.
