Miguel Ledezma (Mexico City, 1973) Visual artist and art researcher. He has a PhD in Image, Art, Culture and Society by the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos and a master’s and an undergraduate degree in Arts by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Dr. Ledezma published the book Juego y arte Contemporáneo [Contemporary Game and Art]. His work has been selected in national and international contests such as: the Biennial Monterrey FEMSA, the 2nd National Biennial of Landscape, among others. Until now, he has presented eleven individual exhibitions and has participated in more than 70 collective exhibitions in Mexico and abroad. The most recent ones are: Gráfica América, at the Museum of Latin American Art MOLAA, in Long Beach, California (2019); Arte/Sano 6.0 at the Museo de Arte Popular in Mexico City (2019). Currently, he is a member of the National System of Researchers and he is a full-time professor and researcher at the School of Arts of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo.
