Born in Acapulco, Guerrero in 1956.

She is a freelance graphic designer specialized in editorial design

She has a Master’s degree by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco in Design and Editorial Production

She is the Director of La Cabra Ediciones (www.lacabraediciones.com)

She has been the best in the Second and Third International Biennial of Poster in Mexico (1992, 1994). She co-founded the project Ediciones Sin Nombre in 1993, in which she participated until 1997. She was part of the Alforja, Arte y Literatura from 1998 until the end of the project, in 2008.

She has designed more than twenty literary magazines and has carried out editorial projects that cover the design and edition for different local governments and several institutions.

She has deserved the Award Caniem to Editorial Art six times: in the category of Literary and Cultural Magazines, for the design and formation of La Otra. Revista de Poesía + Artes Visuales + Otras Letras (Alforja, Arte y Literatura, A.C., 2010), and for the design of the magazine Punto de partida. La revista de los estudiantes universitarios (Department of Literature/UNAM, 2013, 2016 and 2018); as well as the category Encyclopedias, Dictionaries and Atlas, for the design and formation of the Enciclopedia de conocimientos fundamentales (five-volume work, Siglo XXI Editores-UNAM, 2011), and for the design and formation of the Vocabulario de las filosofías occidentales. Diccionario de intraducibles (Siglo XXI Editores, 2019).

She is the author and responsible for the graphic image and editorial of La Cabra Ediciones.

Besides continuing with the management and coordination of editorial projects, since 2014, she has been focusing on inter and multidisciplinary projects. Together with the photographer Rogelio Cuéllar, she has created, directed and curated the exhibitions De la Tierra al Cielo. 50 años de Rayuela-100 años con Julio Cortázar (55 artists, 2013-2018), Hacer el cuerpo. Colección Rogelio Cuéllar (135 pieces of 85 artists, 2018) and La tabla de los elementos (118 pieces of 221 creators, 2019).

She has published the photobook Costa Rica-Antigua (2019) for the firm of architects Zyman&Zyman with photos taken by her.
