Semblance

She is known as the master of Polaroid experimental photography in Mexico. Lourdes Almeida studied next to great photographers like Manuel Álvarez Bravo. For over four decades, she has been assembling exhibitions around the world and giving workshops and dictating conferences in several national universities. Besides, she has been the art director of several cinematographic projects. In 2017, she received the medal to photographic merit given by the National System of Photography Archives of INAH.
