Alejandra Edith Rodrigo Durán is from Ensenada B.C., Mexico. She started her theatrical career in her adolescence working in the Company of Theater of Ensenada where she performed as an actress. Later, she graduated from the Faculty of Theater of the Universidad Veracruzana. She won the Youth State Price 2002, she received the grant given by the Special Fund for Culture and Arts (FOECA) of the State of Baja California in the category of Support to Continue Artistic Studies. In 2005, she inaugurated the Forum “La Astilla” in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz, initiative of Rodrigo Carrillo Tripp. From 2008 to 2010, she worked as an actress with Abraham Oceranzky in several projects carried out in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. In 2016, she participated in the 2nd Symposium of Art Teaching in Higher Education with the talk “Theatrical training, UAEH proposals” as part of the 10th International Congress of Higher Education, carried out on February 15-19 in La Habana Cuba. She contributed in the International Colloquium carried out within the 6th edition of the International Image Festival, FINI 2016, with the lecture “The development of the conscience as a crucial tool for the actor” in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. During the University Book Fair of the UAEH, in its 32nd edition, she presented the book “Correas de un mismo cuero” written by the actor José Carlos Ruiz. She is currently studying the master’s degree in Theater and Performing Arts at the Universidad de La Rioja, Spain. As a member of the UAEH community, she was designated Associate Director of the Department of Culture.
