Mission
The mission of the Office of Sports Education and Promotion is to
contribute to the basic education of the student community in the
ways of sports and recreation, as well as to create spaces for healthy
leisure activities for the university community; to create and maintain
the sports infrastructure at the highest level to optimise the performance
of these activities; to provide the necessary equipment; to contribute
in forming highly competitive teams and individuals to represent
all levels of our University multidisciplinarily and for these results
to form a permanent link to the institutional identity that is projected
through the excellence of our university students.
Vision
To recognize the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Hidalgo by
means of the Office of Sports Education and Promotion regionally,
nationally and internationally for the integral formation of the
student community in each of its areas; by offering an excellent
education in accordance with the educative model; by commanding distinction
due to the high competitiveness and excellent results from each of
its multidisciplinary sports, resulting in the constant and permanent
participation of the university community, thereby increasing our
recognized institutional values that represent us as members of the
university.
Quality Policy
We have undertaken the permanent commitment to offer excellence
in service to the university community in all of our processes; to
repeat this role in society as a whole and be the most important
sports space in the state; to ensure every process is efficient and
efficacious in relation to the competitive parameters of continuous
improvement; to be governed by the constant certification of our
processes and transparency in rendering accounts for financial, material
and human resources.
Quality Objectives
Attend to the basic education of the student through
the activation and generation of physical education, the creation
of a sense of identity and extolment of institutional values through
updated sports programs and permanently-trained instructors which
offer the student a basic understanding of the principles of the
sports disciplines offered by the university, by using 100% of
the sports infrastructure to maintain an efficient and efficacious
service.
Create high performance teams from within the
student community to represent the Universidad Autonoma del Estado
de Hidalgo as an institution at official sports events, and in
this way promote basic sports education and to lead regionally,
nationally and institutionally as an institution of excellence.
Develop a permanent link for direct multidisciplinary
attention of all students who practice sports from UAEH with the
entire academic management, medical education, administrative processing
and sources to generate support for the best possibilities of his/her
sports activity with excellent user service and efficient administration.
Have a dedicated attitude to the community of
the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Hidalgo; generate spaces
to participate in quality sports that are inclusive and directed
to create a healthy, relaxed environment by creating institutional
sports events that exhibit the best in university sport, use our
performance to extol the values that distinguish us as members
of the university.
Contribute to the excellence of university sports
through linking the competences and events that develop what is
required to practice sports, uniting the extension of our sports
activities to provide sports education and promotion to society
using UAEH’s standards, maintaining the communication links
with diverse sectors that meet to take university sports.
Excel in both internal and external recognition,
increase our identity and values in the professional practice of
sports, become the way to raise competitiveness, represent the
institution with dignity, through the excellence of the leadership
of our professional teams.
Assume the institutional commitment that contributes
to excellence through the efficient and effective administration
of material, financial and human resources as well as total transparency
accounting to assure that all resources are applied to this Office
in order to promote University sports processes.
Values
We recognize the excellence of our institutional values and assume
them completely, applying them in the sports environment to allow
their dissemination to increase their recognition in the university
community.
