Duties

  • Assure the quality of personnel administration, the University’s material and financial resources, to contribute to the achievement of University plans, programs and projects..
  • Coordinate the activities of obtaining and adminstering financial resources. 
  • Coordinate the actions of financial control, as the only body empowered to make payments.
  • Promote the use of appropriate procedures to justify and optimize institutional resources.
  • Promote the establishment and operation of mechanisms to increase institutional funding.
  • Plan, organize, manage, coordinate and evaluate the processes of recruitment, selection, hiring and installation of academic and administrative staff to the University.
  • Coordinate training, health and safety and retirement programs of academic and administrative staff of the University.
  • Plan, organize, manage, coordinate and evaluate the procurement, material distribution and inventory control processes for the University.
  • Plan, organize, manage, coordinate and evaluate the financial revenue and expenditure procedures, as well as budgetary control.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance of the University infrastructure.
  • Monitor all the agreements that the University endorses from a financial perspective.
  • Manage the agreements in its area of jurisdiction to which the institution subscribes.
